Here's our first item:











A "thing" given to my mother from the Foreign Secretary of Thailand some years ago. It resembles an upside down lamp shade to me. The decorations of different people all around it are cute indeed. And the bottom of it can be pulled out so you can wrap the whole thing together flat. But what on earth is this lamp shade like thing really for? We're clueless here, do you have the right answer?
